Some industrious Armored Core 6 players have built mechs from the Gundam franchise, including Sazabi featured in Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack. Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon recently launched to rave reviews and amassed an impressive concurrent player count of 150,000 on Steam. Along with Starfield and Baldur's Gate 3, the game is now among the platform's top sellers.

One Armored Core 6 player known as BusterSwordd on Reddit crafted a mech inspired by the MSN-04 Sazabi from Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack. Decorated in red, this giant mech has chunky VE-42A legs, 07-061 Mind Alpha Arms, SG-027 Zimmerman L arm, and BML G2 Back Units that help the player survive intense fights. Another Reddit user by the name of WhichConclusion2503 showed a Gundam Exia mech decorated in white, blue, and green. The build seems to be composed of the Moonlight Greatsword, Pulse Shield Launcher EUL E/60D, and Kasuar 44Z Head parts that players will unlock as they progress in Armored Core 6's main campaign.
One of the best aspects of Armored Core 6 is the ability to share builds within the community and help others assemble their unique mech. Over the past couple of days, many design codes have surfaced on the game's subreddit, allowing players to adorn their mech with new colors and weapons. Some community builds are viable options for melee combat, while others value long-range weapons like lasers, missiles, and rifles. It's worth noting that players must unlock all mech parts included in custom-builds to load them without issues.
Armored Core 6 players have been testing the limits of the game's customization system to bring their favorite characters into existence. In an example, one crafty player turned CJ from Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas into a functional mech, while another created a replica of the titular Kirby. It will be interesting to see if they build more mecha versions of characters from other video games.
